AerisWay
AerisWay is a suite of libraries, applications and all related data, configurations, etc, that we developed
to support our services in Mission Analysis and Flight Dynamics operations for NewSpace customers.
AerisWay was partially funded via the ESA Business Incubation Centre and we are minimizing development
efforts by exploiting existing and fully validated software suites.
AerisWay is built on top of the Generic Orbit Determination and Optimization Toolkit, or GODOT,
which was developed by ESA/ESOC and provided to AerisGate for commercial use under an
ESA Community License. GODOT is already being used for spacecraft Flight Dynamics operations
for all recent ESA missions both for Earth observation and deep space. This allows us to exploit
the inherent and flight qualified reliability and accuracy of GODOT at the core of AerisWay.
Moreover, we are also using GENEOS, a toolkit developed at ESA/ESOC and targeting Earth
Observation missions operational Flight Dynamics, and we have integrated several other
specialized Python packages such as PyGMO for generic optimization and OpenMDAO
for Multidisciplinary Design Optimization.
Based on AerisWay, our AerisGate experts can offer at a low cost a wide set of services
which are typically very expensive in the traditional space sector, such as:
station and ground coverage, ...)
navigation and Montecarlo analyses, ...)
Moreover, AerisGate can provide customized software packages which are tailored to the
specific needs of the customer, ranging from simple Mission Analysis toolkits to full-fledged
Flight Dynamics Systems integrated with a dedicated user interface. We can also offer integration
of our Flight Dynamics solutions within the overall ground segment, either provided directly by
the customer or by third party suppliers.
